Zenon Aviation: Safety Manager - 12 month contract
Zenon Aviation Recruitment is currently searching for a Safety Manager on behalf of an established airline based in the Far-East.
For this role you are required to have experience within commercial and management roles within either corporate or commercial airline operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage, plan and develop Safety Systems network in order to provide a proactive approach and effective response to safety threatsEnsure that safety plans, policies, and procedures are in line with the local aviation authorities and Aviation Industry (ICOA and IATA) standards and recommendationsMonitor the effectiveness of responses or measures taken by conducting regular safety evaluations and inspectionsMonitor all safety reports and ensure adverse trends are tackled appropriately, and in time by the appropriate departmentsEnsure that regular safety audits and reviews are conducted in all relevant operational and non-operational areasMonitor the safety performance of aircraft on the ground and in the airConduct and oversee the implement of incident and accident investigations and the accident prevention programDevelop strategies for the continued improvement of flight and ground safety performance in order to reduce costs resulting from incidents/accidentsDevelop safety Programs for review by the Management Safety Review Committee, and implement Programs which are approvedMonitor compliance with existing flight operation regulation and procedures and developing proposals for the improvement of flight safetyCommunicate appropriate information relating to safety issues, to management and employees, in order to encourage and develop in continuing safety culture, at all levelsObserve safety trends in the aviation industryLiaise with national and international flight safety agencies as necessaryTo be successful you must have:
Comprehensive knowledge of accident prevention and investigationFamiliarity with quality systemExperience in the application of aviation safety programInternational and Domestic experience in air transportation regulations, policy, safety, control and risk analysis and preventionInternational commercial pilot experience is desirableAttention to Detail & QualityProblem Solving and Decision MakingAnalytical SkillsExcellent written and spoken EnglishExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeThey are offering an excellent salary and benefits.
