Zenon Aviation Recruitment is currently searching for a Chief Pilot on behalf of an established airline based in Indonesia.

This position will involve regular travelling to the various domiciles and constant interaction with Assistant Chief Pilots, Base Managers, and the Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage day to day operationsResponsible for all aspects of pilot performance including - absence management, non-technical disciplinary and grievance issues, motivation, support, accommodation allocation, core input to the FRMS and pilot communicationsAccompany flights to observe performance of pilotsLead and control flight crew, verify monthly crew planning and assignment of personnelProvide the VPFO with details of all technical and/or operational issues identified through the monitoring of pilot line activityProactive provision of information and responses to pilots to ensure timely and accurate delivery of facts regarding all non-technical issuesDirect and coordinate through subordinate management personnel, flight operation and control activitiesMake sure flight operation is according to national regulationsMonitor legal environment changes and amend company procedures when requiredControl and improve the service of subcontracted organisations for handling and other services related to flight operationsConduct training classes for flight personnel

We are seeking an outstanding individual that is proactive in risk management and is people-oriented.

To be successful you must have previous Airline Management experience as well as:

ATPLAble to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAble to organize and coordinate workWorking experience in Asia is a must and ideally fluent in local language
