We are seeking a qualified person for our Manager Flight Technical Services position. This is a senior management position. Applicants are expected to have a broad range of experience within the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct flight simulation training device evaluations, and ensuring device changes are in compliance with qualification standards
• Control the maintenance and development of flight simulation training device evaluation and fidelity standards
• Monitor Aircraft Flight Manuals revisions and ensuring Operations Manual compliance with the Flight Manual in non-performance areas
• Evaluate and develop aircraft operational equipment
• Prepare and achieve HKCAD approval of Airworthiness and Series Flight Test Schedules and of Airworthiness Flight Test Sampling Programmes
• Sign correspondence to the Director of Civil Aviation, on behalf of our senior management, on matters relating to airworthiness or aircraft certification (including flight testing required by HKCAD and Flight Manuals)

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Aeronautical Engineering
• Minimum 20 yrs experience in the aviation industry with at least 5 yrs experience with pilot training flight simulation in a technical capacity
• Solid experience in working at a senior engineering or operations level, ideally with experience on the aircraft types operated by Cathay Pacific
• Broad knowledge of the regulatory environment
