Zenon Aviation Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Head of Engineering on behalf of an established airline based in the Far-East, to manage the maintenance and engineering team, whilst providing strategies for the development of systems, personnel and support services.

To be successful you must have a minimum 5 years experience in airline engineering management.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage an effective and skilled workforcePlan, conduct and oversee engineering projects, manufacturing assignments, design and/or repair assignments which are complex and difficult and require expert application of engineering knowledgeMonitor engineering performance through service contract KPI´s and dispatch reliability reportsReview and monitor maintenance check plansStrategic development of maintenance policies and schedulesCompile engineering departmental budgets and monitor performanceNegotiate, develop and review service contracts to ensure provision of quality, cost effect engineering and maintenance supportReviewing strategic requirements for engineering for fleet expansion and servicesAuditing of suppliersEnsure Areas of Responsibility meets goals and objectives by providing systems, resources, and training as neededOversees the work schedules of assigned personnel to meet completion dates, technical specifications and budget limitsEnsure the appropriate resources are provided to enable engineering and training support be provided for all projects in a timely and cost-effective mannerProvide project management and technical leadership to all engineers and engineering management

The successful candidate must be flexible, have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and internal/external stakeholders, a team player and work in a fast paced environment.
Be familiar with ICAO regulations and have commercial, P&L, strategy and management experience.
