As Radar ATCO your primary responsibility will be to maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic on and in the vicinity of Inverness airport in accordance with all relevant legislation.
You’ll hold current UK CAA ratings in Aerodrome (ADI), Approach Control Procedural (APP) and Approach Control Surveillance (APS). You’ll hold a MET Observation certificate and a current OJTI certificate would be desirable but not essential. You’ll also meet the relevant CAA medical standards.
You’ll be able to think on your feet whilst maintaining a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours. Your analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to add value immediately as you integrate into the current Air Traffic Services team.
