A leading international Operating company currently has a requirement for a Senior Maintenance Depart Manager to be based at the country’s main refinery in Vietnam. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of mechanical maintenance activities on the Refinery ensuring that plant safety, availability, reliability and budgetary targets are met.
The roles will be responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical Maintenance work within a defined area of the Refinery is carried out efficiently and with due regard to safety and environmental requirements and to relevant engineering standards.
The Senior Maintenance Depart Manager will be required to provide guidance and direction to all maintenance staff within their area of responsibility within the Refinery.
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Minimum of 10 years operations experience with Maintenance schedules
• Previous experience in managing Service Contractors
• Familiar with root cause failure analysis for static and rotating equipment
• Experience with Integrity Assurance
• Previous offshore experience before taking up an onshore support role
• Familiar with onshore production refineries
Required Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will be a degree / diploma qualified Mechanical Engineer. Strong problem solving and engineering project management skills. Demonstrated competency managing service contractors. Computer literate
Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential
Excellent Coaching and Mentoring
Must be eligible to reside and work in SE Asia.
In return my client is able to offer the Manager / Engineer Rotating Equipment a challenging role on a large scale refinery. The duration of the contract will be till the end of 2012 with a possible contract extension for a further 2 years, and the remuneration will vary depending on your experience.
Rotation is 10 weeks on 2 Off
All flights paid economy from point of Origin.
5 day week (may revert to 6 again).
