Our client is recruiting a Station manager for their Liège base (LGG) with an immediate start.

Job Function:

To co-ordinate daily activity within area of responsibilityTo manage the performance and development of direct reports and work inter-functionally to assist colleagues in the sameTo work proactively with colleagues in own and other areas, ensuring the provision to a total quality service to every customer and potential customerTo engage in and promote the company brand both internally and externally

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Experience

Significant experience in a General Aviation Operational Management position, with a depth of experience on both operational and business management sidesProven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, in particular with airport authorities and suppliersProven extensive experience in team leadership and development


Knowledge

Detailed working knowledge of General Aviation, aircraft and CSR / Operations / Handling servicesWorking knowledge of general business managementKnowledge of the principles of team leadership


Skills / Abilities

Proven ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in French and EnglishAbility to give prompt and concise instructions to colleagues and customers in an appropriate mannerProven ability to deliver consistent top quality customer service, face to face, in writing and over the telephoneAbility to promote and maintain a clean and tidy work place at all timesProven ability to work under pressure in a noisy and potentially stressful environmentEssential ability to work shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays as requiredAbility to give, accept and apply constructive criticism and advice in a positive mannerProven ability to manage and support people management tools and methods, including performance management and disciplinary sanctionsAbility to be a good motivator and team leaderIntermediate / advanced ability in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook

Note also, dangerous goods awareness training and knowledge of CFMU and flight planning would be appreciated.
