Suitable applicants will be required to manage, control and ensure a DCS (Departure Control System) or manual load/trim sheet is prepared for each customer airline departure in full compliance with airline SLA (Service Level Agreement) and Qatar Aviation Services procedures.

The Senior Load Control Agent must produce a timely, safe and efficient LIRF for each customer airlines departure as per the stipulated guidelines and must ensure adherence of all Qatar Aviation Services Standard Operating Procedures. He/She must monitor, direct and supervise the Loading Team Leader activities via the radio and update the required changes to ensure the safety of the aircraft at all times. Applicants must be at least a High School Graduate with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position at an airport. 

Requirements

1. Secondary School Certificate or equivalent practical experience.

2. IATA Load Control license

3. Basic DCS training & Advance Load Control course Mandatory

4. Valid and acceptable Load Control license for both narrow body and wide-bodies aircrafts.

5. Acceptable IATA DG training and Airline Ramp Handling/Load Processing Training.

Manages E-Business projects and liaises between IT and Business Depts. Candidates should be University Graduates or equivalent with specialization in IT or alternatively commensurate and demonstrable experience.   The successful candidate must have minimum 8+ years IT industry experience, preferably in the airline or related domain, firsthand knowledge of analyzing business requirements, processes and workflows to translate these into formal and specific system requirements using Rational Tools. A good working knowledge of RFI and RFP processes and aviation technology and travel distribution market would also be an advantage.   Proven track record of employing proven business methodologies including calculating Return On Investment, Total Cost of Ownership, project management, quality management, business process re-engineering and customer relationship management would be essential. He/She should possess Project Management skills including Analysis and Requirements Definition, Concept Definition using UML, RFI and RFP Process ownership, Vendor Research and Management, Resource Management/Guide and Mentor team members, Costing and Budget Management, People management, SDLC methodology, Good communication and interpersonal skills.   Client account management skills are essential to the success of this position.  Capability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines is a must. The candidate is required to have the ability to articulate business needs and conduct analysis of system requirements amongst competing vendor solutions. Familiarity with range of technology, especially IP-based business applications and a good range of research tools. Exposure to BPR, change management, Rational Software Architect UML and RUP methodologies, quality management, software testing, briefing multimedia/promotions and understanding web-services would be an advantage.   This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in the success of the organization and continuity to its operation. Manage and ensure work output which that meets agreed standard of quantity, quality, cost and time frame that maintain financial viability. . To ensure efficient and effective communication throughout the lounge operation and with internal and external bodies where necessary. . Provide efficient leadership and promote positive teamwork. . Identify departmental training needs and implementation of training programs to ensure well trained workforce and to provide continuous personnel development to staff. . Develop and promote the new Al Maha Service unit in order to create and sustain revenue streams, . which are supplementary to the income generated by QR . Plan and organize resources in order to ensure smooth functioning of the unit . Manage and motivate the team towards performance excellence and maintain discipline within the unit   Budgets & Business Plans . Prepare the annual business plans and operating and budgets, ensuring that adequate funding provision are made for all activities within area of responsibility. . Monitor expenditure against approved levels on a regular basis and investigates and justifies significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control Management & Leadership   . Establish department objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. . Regularly evaluate the department objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed. . The Specialist Learning and Development - Quality and Training Development is responsible for developing and the continuous improvement of courses under the direction of their Manager. This will include the development and use of a Quality Management System and the conduct of evaluation and validation activities in support of that system. The incumbent is also involved in the systematic approach taken to analysing training needs and then developing courses to address those needs   Key Accountabilities:  Demonstrate initiative, a 'can do' attitude and a passion for learning. Create solid professional relationships with management at all levels within the business. Act as an ambassador for Group Learning and Development by forging and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers. Coach and be coached by fellow colleagues and team members. Design and develop training materials based on best practice Learning & Development methodology. Assist with the planning, developing and designing of quality management activities. Facilitate training programs to the highest standard using adult-learning and learner focused techniques. Utilize coaching techniques to improve employee performance based upon an agreed action plan. Research fields and topics related to quality and training development that will improve the effectiveness of Group Learning and Development.   To be a successful in this role you will hold a Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) from a recognized university in a Training and/or Quality related field with a minimum of 6-7 years experience in a similar environment. Aviation training. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
