A340 Captain- QATAR

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Our client has set out its strategy to become an All Captain's Airline and therefore reflecting the high responsibility and exclusivity of operating to the highest standards of VVIP travel.

*This role is a permanent position. There is no roster for pilots, as it is a VVIP operation.
*Formally it is 24/7 stand-by duty. As a matter of fact it is mostly more or less between 3 and 10 prior notification
*License validation is generally not a factor, taken care of by our client with local authority - as long as it is a valid ICAO-, JAR- or FAA- License.

Skills required:

*Excellent flying abilities
*Team player personality
*Personal and social skills
*Leadership qualities
*Full command of English language is a must
*Other major language knowledge preferred

Qualifications required:

*JAA ATPL, FAA ATPL or ICAO -ATPL
*Medical Class I
*Valid and Current on A330 or A340 Type Rating as PIC

Flight Experience required:

Total flying experience of minimum 8,000 hours, of which 3,000 hours are as PIC on jet aircraft with 20 TONNES MTOW and current on A330/A340.

Education:

Full Second Level Graduation (e.g. Baccalauréat, Abitur, A-Level Exam, Matura)

Suitable applicants will be required to manage, control and ensure a DCS (Departure Control System) or manual load/trim sheet is prepared for each customer airline departure in full compliance with airline SLA (Service Level Agreement) and Qatar Aviation Services procedures.

The Senior Load Control Agent must produce a timely, safe and efficient LIRF for each customer airlines departure as per the stipulated guidelines and must ensure adherence of all Qatar Aviation Services Standard Operating Procedures. He/She must monitor, direct and supervise the Loading Team Leader activities via the radio and update the required changes to ensure the safety of the aircraft at all times. Applicants must be at least a High School Graduate with at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position at an airport. 

Requirements

1. Secondary School Certificate or equivalent practical experience.

2. IATA Load Control license

3. Basic DCS training & Advance Load Control course Mandatory

4. Valid and acceptable Load Control license for both narrow body and wide-bodies aircrafts.

5. Acceptable IATA DG training and Airline Ramp Handling/Load Processing Training.

Manages E-Business projects and liaises between IT and Business Depts. Candidates should be University Graduates or equivalent with specialization in IT or alternatively commensurate and demonstrable experience.   The successful candidate must have minimum 8+ years IT industry experience, preferably in the airline or related domain, firsthand knowledge of analyzing business requirements, processes and workflows to translate these into formal and specific system requirements using Rational Tools. A good working knowledge of RFI and RFP processes and aviation technology and travel distribution market would also be an advantage.   Proven track record of employing proven business methodologies including calculating Return On Investment, Total Cost of Ownership, project management, quality management, business process re-engineering and customer relationship management would be essential. He/She should possess Project Management skills including Analysis and Requirements Definition, Concept Definition using UML, RFI and RFP Process ownership, Vendor Research and Management, Resource Management/Guide and Mentor team members, Costing and Budget Management, People management, SDLC methodology, Good communication and interpersonal skills.   Client account management skills are essential to the success of this position.  Capability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines is a must. The candidate is required to have the ability to articulate business needs and conduct analysis of system requirements amongst competing vendor solutions. Familiarity with range of technology, especially IP-based business applications and a good range of research tools. Manage and ensure work output which that meets agreed standard of quantity, quality, cost and time frame that maintain financial viability. . To ensure efficient and effective communication throughout the lounge operation and with internal and external bodies where necessary. . Provide efficient leadership and promote positive teamwork. . Identify departmental training needs and implementation of training programs to ensure well trained workforce and to provide continuous personnel development to staff. . Plan and organize resources in order to ensure smooth functioning of the unit . Prepare the annual business plans and operating and budgets, ensuring that adequate funding provision are made for all activities within area of responsibility. . Establish department objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. .
