Piping Layout Engineer - Vietnam
An established EPC company with international presence requires experienced personnel for a refinery project.
The Role:
To prepare/ design PIPING LAYOUT and INFORMATION (incl Civil/ Equipment),
To review/ check the 3D modeling work.
To confirm all design product with Project/ CODE&STD and sound engineering requirements.
To coordinate with all related internal member and other disciplines and also client.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Background and experience in Layout engineering of the design of oil refinery plant or Petro. Chemical plant and the ability to develop overall facility layouts from PFDs and equipment details.
Educated to degree/diploma level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
The Applicant should have a piping engineering background with a minimum of 10yrs experience in the Oil and Petro chemical or Gas industry. Experience in Refinery is desirable.
Understanding of multi-discipline aspects, including Safety, Constructability, maintenance and operations and thorough knowledge of appropriate codes and standards including class requirement.
To be proficiency in 2D Piping Layout or CAD modeling.
To be proficiency using 3D review.
Ability to resolve problems expeditiously to minimize delays, and ensure project objectives are met by a positive working attitude.
Must be pro-active and possess good inter-personal skills.
