National UN Volunteer: Communications Officer
The UN Women in Vietnam is looking for a qualified Vietnamese candidate to fill in the post National UN volunteer Communications Officer . The National UN volunteer will work under the overall guidance and supervision of the UN Women Representative in Viet Nam and in close collaboration with the Policy Officer (PO) and the UN Communications Team.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Education background:
Relevant undergraduate degree,and preferably with Master's degree, in journalism, gender, development or related fieldsWork experience:Relevant working experience in communications and media;Relevant working experience in Gender and other social/development issues;Understanding in the field of gender equality and mainstreaming; strong conceptual, understanding and analytical skills on gender issues, as they link with poverty and human development;Knowledge of relevant gender issues in Vietnam or other Asian countries;Work experience with another international organization.Competencies:
Strong communication, advisory, networking and advocacy skillsStrong analytical and conceptual thinkingExcellent written and presentation skills (English)Ability to adapt in a new working environment and work in a multi-cultural team and to deliver underComputer skills:
The necessary computer skills with competence in MSWord, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Netscape/MS Outlook and internet research are required
