The Specialist Learning and Development - Quality and Training Development is responsible for developing and the continuous improvement of courses under the direction of their Manager. This will include the development and use of a Quality Management System and the conduct of evaluation and validation activities in support of that system. The incumbent is also involved in the systematic approach taken to analysing training needs and then developing courses to address those needs Key Accountabilities: Demonstrate initiative, a 'can do' attitude and a passion for learning. Create solid professional relationships with management at all levels within the business. Act as an ambassador for Group Learning and Development by forging and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers. Coach and be coached by fellow colleagues and team members. Design and develop training materials based on best practice Learning & Development methodology. Assist with the planning, developing and designing of quality management activities. Facilitate training programs to the highest standard using adult-learning and learner focused techniques. Utilize coaching techniques to improve employee performance based upon an agreed action plan. Research fields and topics related to quality and training development that will improve the effectiveness of Group Learning and Development. To be a successful in this role you will hold a Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) from a recognized university in a Training and/or Quality related field with a minimum of 6-7 years experience in a similar environment. Aviation training. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint. Experience in training in a multi-cultural environment.
