The Position:

Emirates Aviation College, the academic wing of the Emirates Group, is a reputed tertiary education provider in the Middle East. The Aerospace and Academic studies section offers a range of career programmes in Aerospace, Travel & Tourism & Business Management. Assistant Professor: Aircraft Stability and Automatic Control.

This is a full-time consultancy based position starting in February 2011. You will be responsible for teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, coordinating and supervising various departmental activities, assisting with administrative work and engaging in academic research.

Salary & Benefits:

Experience and Qualifications:

Ph.D in the area of Aeronautical Engineering with a major of Aircraft Stability and/or Automatic Control from a reputed international university. A strong background in Programming using MATLAB and C or FORTRAN will be favourable. Teaching experience in delivering academic programmes /courses or working in a major international organization or university. Must have good command of the English language both verbal and written. Ability to teach Electrical Circuits will be an advantage.
