Project Engineer (Rig Building) - Vietnam
Requirement:
Min 10 yrs of experience in rig building industry including jack-up rig & tender barge new build projects. Hold similar position before in established shipyards.
Duration: 10-18 months from Feb 2011
- Ensure that all relevant departments are in possession of and aware of latest revisions of project specifications, drawing and other project execution documents.
- Preparation, implementation and management of project related engineering method statements and execution plans.
- Preparation of project related materials requisitions.
- Preparation, submission, control of additional work requests and change orders.
- Preparation, submission, monitoring and control of project technical queries.
- Monitor materials usage to ensure possible shortages are identified and addressed
- Monitor all elements of work execution and provides input to planning departments.
- Investigates productivity variances and report to the project manager.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
- Summarise the job specifications / drawings, prepare materials take off (MTO), prepare the detailed construction plans about material / manpower allocation / sequence and schedule
