Sigma Aviation Services are pleased to advise that we are accepting applications for the post Manager In-Flight Commercial Catering. This is a full-time position that will require relocation working with an established carrier operating both domestic and international services with a mixed fleet of aircraft in the Asia region.
An excellent opportunity to join this expanding airline where the main focus of the role will be on;
- In-Flight Commercial strategic direction
- Catering Logistics
- Asset Management
- Catering Operation both domestically and internationally
Candidates will be considered on the basis of the following experience/education levels;
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Business or equivalent
- Professional accreditation in Catering/Hotel Management would be highly desirable
- Ideally 10 years or more experience within an Airline catering environment with responsibility for strategic development, budgetary control and procurement in a multi-cultural surrounding
- Proven track record in a variety of the field's, concepts, practices and procedures
- Proven management skills with a multicultural work force
- Proven track record of handling complex issues and negotiations
- Strong team working skills

- Strong manager with the ability to lead a professional team
- Excellent project management skills, to deliver tasks within tight deadlines
- Be creative and innovative, capable of creating new and effective solutions

- Be experienced in dealing with IATA catering contracts and SLAs
- Experience in HACCP
- Budgetary control experience
- Catering and supply chain handling
- Knowledge of catering IT systems an advantage
