Project VNM8P08 of Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee “Prevention of Domestic Violence, Addressing Imbalanced Sex Ratio at Birth and Care for the Elderly in Hai Duong province 2012-2015”, jointly-supported by UNFPA, is looking for 01 Project Accountant and 01 Project Coordinator to work full time at the Office of Project Management Unit (PMU) VNM8P08 to support Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee in the implementation of the project.

Project focus on areas: Supported for piloting cost-effectiveness models on domestic violence prevention and control, addressing imbalanced sex ratio at birth and care for the elderly that can be a basis for policy advocacy, policy development, and consideration of provincial and nationwide replication of such models within the framework of sub-national/national programmes.

Guiding framework: One Plan 2012 - 2016 between the Vietnamese Government and 17 UN Organizations in Viet Nam. This project contributes to One Plan Output 2.1.1, 2.4.3 and 2.4.4.

Outputs 2.4.3 of OP: Gender related legal and policy frameworks programs and practices strengthened to effectively address gender inequality and inequity, gender discrimination and gender-based violence.
Output 2.4.4 of OP: Multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms effectively guide comprehensive evidence-based planning, budgeting, M&E for a sustainable response to gender inequality, inequity, discrimination and gender-based violence.
Output 2.1.1 of OP: High quality evidence is available for use by decision-makers to inform the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of social protection-related legislation and policy

Working duration: from October 2012 to December 2016
Working place: Hai Duong province
