A world leading Air Charter Company is searching for a Marketing Manager to be based in Johannesburg.

The role requires someone to enhance the company’s image and exposure in South Africa.

The key responsibilities include:

Develop Marketing Strategy

Expose the company to a wider audience and promote its products/services in South AfricaWork with sales staff/brokers to research potential marketing opportunities and promote the company in new and existing sectors in South AfricaAssist with the implementation of marketing campaignsAnalyse the success of specific campaignsMaintaining and updating the contacts databaseProvide support for sales staffSupport Sales StaffAssist brokers/sales staff in preparing introduction text, project proposals, tender applications etcPrepare PowerPoint presentations, standard templates and specific content

The successful applicant will have experience in a managerial role within marketing and have knowledge of the air charter industry.

In addition to this, successful applicants will have:

Experience of researching marketing opportunities in different sectorsExperience of managing email-marketing strategyAbility to analyse the success of specific projects / campaignsHigh level of communication skills – spoken and writtenHigh level of IT skills to enable preparation of PowerPoint presentationsSelf-motivated and flexible in approach to workAble to manage a large and very diverse workloadAble to work both individually and as part of a team with minimum supervision
