Job Descriptions, Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall supervision of refinery production activities in order to meet the products specification and environment requirements at minimum cost as possible.
To supervise overall production systems to produce products at optimum cost.
Improvement and Enhancement of Operating and Producing Technology.
Analysis of Operation & Preparation of Improvement for operating instruction
Case Study and FS for Improvement of Efficiency and Productivity.
Drafting of Catalyst Utilization Plan and Appraisal of Catalyst Performance.
To participate in Shut-down Maintenance Planning from the viewpoint of production and delivering of refinery products.
Employee evaluation and recommendation for job rotation, upgrades and annual salary increment.
To coordinate administrative jobs related to employees
Responsible for brushing-up employees’ knowledge and technology to ensure safe and efficient facilities and operation of overall refinery by dispatching them to technical training courses and seminars of domestic or overseas organizations

Education Requirement:
Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience Requirement:
Minimum 10 year experience in the position of Production Deputy Director.
Experience in technical or technical management area of Petroleum Industry.
To have enough knowledge in Safety & Environmental Control in Refinery Operations.

Special Training & Qualification:
Training course of Modernized Refinery Management.
Training course of Safety & Environmental Control in Process Operations

Other Requirement For Position:
To have good Personality, Leadership, and Diligence.
Frequent Level in written and spoken English

 1. Deputy Project Director
Requirements:

- Minimum of 15 years experience in oil & gas onshore/offshore projects, or oil and gas industry. Experience in Gas Processing Plant is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years experience on Project Deputy/Project Manager in similar relevant.similar projects

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Process/Chemical Engineering or equivalent

2.Process Equipment Lead Engineer 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in oil & gas onshore/offshore projects, or oil and gas industry. Experience in Gas Processing Plant is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years experience on  Oil & Gas Process Equipment or in similar relevant projects

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Process/Chemical Engineering or equivalent

3. Process Lead Engineer 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in oil & gas onshore/offshore projects, or oil and gas industry. Experience in Gas Processing Plant is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years experience on  Oil & Gas Process Design/ Engineering or in Process Management of.similar projects

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Process/Chemical Engineering or equivalent

4. Lead Mechanical Equipment Engineer 

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in oil & gas onshore/offshore projects, or oil and gas industry. Experience in Gas Processing Plant is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years experience on  Oil & Gas rotating/stating equipment or in similar relevant  projects

- Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

5. Electrical- Instrument Lead Engineer

Requirements:

- Experience in onshore oil & gas similar projects in all aspects of electrical engineering, design,procurement, construction etc.

- Involved in minimum of 3 similar projects(Engineering and E & I Design, procurement, construction etc)

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical.Instrument Engineering

Deputy Project Director – Vietnam

Our client is an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Operating Company owned by Government of Qatar has immediate requirement for this position on below terms.

Contract Duration: Direct Hire

Primary Purpose of the Job

SCOPE:

The position is with Downstream Projects, which may include Petrochemicals and refineries.

Reporting to the China Ventures Manager, the Deputy Project Director will be responsible for:

Successful execution of all phases of the project: FEED, Contracting, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.Satisfying all technical, operational, commercial, maintenance and quality requirements defined in our specifications, standards and practices, and within the approved budget and schedule.Negotiate JVA, JVC and all other agreement required for the project.Adequate implementation of our Safety, Health and Environmental standards.Timely communication with all stakeholders to ensure their participation & influence in the project as per the approved GOA and RACI charts.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Completion of Honours Engineering Degree. Preferred Chemical Engineering.

Certification or training in Project Management.

At least 15 years experience in LSTK/EPC Projects.

Minimum 5 years experience as Deputy Project Director of a job of similar size and complexity, in petrochemical plants and/or large construction projects.

Previous experience working with and directing large International Companies/EPC firms as well as experience working in an International environment.

Strong technical knowledge of downstream petrochemical and refineries.

Thorough knowledge of FEED knowledge, construction management, contractual practices, inspection and safety standards in oil, gas and petrochemical field.

The individual must have contractual awareness, planning with exceptional communication skills QA/QC (ISO9001-2000) & for safety OHSAS 18001 awareness

Familiar with international codes and standards

Proficient in oral and written English.

Special Consideration:

There is a possibility that this position will be for China, so we need the candidates to be flexible in relocation.
