The Role:
Main responsibilities of the position

Ensure functioning of all company systems, network and telephony, monitoring the day-by-day system activities, producing reports when required

Co-ordinate the activity of the external contractors that provide support for the previous point

Provide the necessary support to the different business areas, identifying the more appropriate ICT solutions in accordance with the guidelines and standard received from Head Office.

Elaborate the ICT budget providing the required details in terms of project and service activities
Evaluate, examine and propose, in close collaboration with Users and in accordance with Head Office standard and guidelines, new software packages for potential use of the Company.
Ensure, as much as possible, that all agreed Company standards for security and data protection, software and hardware are adhered to.

Keep the system software and other software for common use, together with the related documentation, updated.

Ensure that Company hardware and software specifications and standards conform the Corporate ones.

Ensure activities related to system improvements planning and optimisation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE

University degree or equivalent with experience of about 5 years in Information Technology.
