In line with the One UN Plan in Viet Nam and national priorities the UNODC develops a Country Programme in order to ensure its coherence and alignment with the One UN Plan 2012-2016 and relevant national policy documents. The Country Programme will set strategy for UNODC activities in Viet Nam for the period 2012-2016 both on continuation of current activities and launching new areas of technical assistance. Subject to the funding, new programme activities can be quickly developed to address needs of the Government.

To support the implementation of Country Programme, the UNODC Viet Nam Country Office is establishing a roster of Project Assistants who are qualified candidates and can be available whenever required for the UNODC activities. Current TOR sets the generic requirements for the Project Assistant post.

The position(s) will be under the direct supervision of the International Project Coordinator and the overall oversight of the Country Manager.
