Position: Full-Time ESL Teacher

I am the Director of Studies here at Washington Language Center and would like to tell you a little about our school and the position we are offering. We had originally posted a similar position earlier this year which was filled. However, our summer time influx of students is turning out to be far greater than earlier predicted (a wonderful turn of events) and we are now looking to add an additional Full-Time teaching position at our center. Washington Language Center is a moderately sized language center located in Hanoi entering the fifth year of operation. We are always looking for fresh talent to join our team of Native speaker teachers here at our center. The full-time position we are offering at our center is a wonderful opportunity to expand one’s own experience and enjoy a stable and reliable source of work while experiencing the wonderful culture of Vietnam. With the benefits of days off a week, promised monthly salary, contract bonuses, and vacation days the position is ideal for those who are new or old to ESL. Requirements:
• Native Born English Speaker
• Able to produce a Neutral or American Accent during lessons
• College Degree in English or Certificate to Teach ESL
• College Degree in any field of study
• Able to teach a wide range of student ages from 5 years old to Adult
• Available to begin work immediately
• High level of in class Energy
• Enthusiastic about teaching ESL
• A professional attitude and appearance
• Able to teach in a Language Center and Local School classroom setting

Details of Position:
• Full-Time teachers commit to a five day working week. During this week a teacher would expect an average of 16-20 hours of in class teaching time.
• This position is an exclusive position. Under the contract you commit to teach English for our center exclusively.
• Monthly Salary is Guaranteed.
• Starting salary for a teacher with at least 1 year of ESL experience is $1500 USD per month.
• Paid National Holidays
• Paid Vacation Days
• Contract completion Bonuses (determined by the duration of contract and nature of the applicant)
• Monthly Bonuses for exceptional performance
• Receive training to improve teaching skills
