Reporting to the CEO of GE in Vietnam and Cambodia, the position holder will support on developing and implementing effective growth and operations strategies for Vietnam via developing new business opportunities/markets for GE in the Central region of Vietnam- Support GE in Vietnam CEO on developing and implementing effective growth and operations strategies for Vietnam via developing new business opportunities/markets for GE in the Central region of Vietnam- Build strong, enduring relationships with key Vietnamese government departments and officials as well as local business partners including SOEs, private companies, EPCs, bankers, investment funds… in order to grow GE businesses in Vietnam
- Provide effective supports to country business leaders to help them achieve their business growth plans including providing advice & industry information to the various businesses in the areas of customers, competitors, regulatory environment, strategies and tactics for the Central region of Vietnam.
- Support GE acquisition and be the Point Person for cross business integration and support.
- Play active role in the American businesses community in Central Vietnam including US ASEAN, the American Chamber of Commerce and the US Embassy….
- Enhancing GE brand and image in Vietnam- Excellent government and corporate relationships
- Successful operating track record in a business, commercial, intergovernmental position in the Central region of Vietnam
- Excellent marketing and selling skills. Ability to conduct research, provide business recommendations internally within GE and to customer prospects.
- Previous successful BD experience preferred.
- Great interpersonal skills
- Possess strong GE values
- Engineering or Finance and MBA degree preferred
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
- Computer literacy
