The DPE team is responsible for driving Microsoft platform and developers tools adoption across the Developer audience using a strategy of direct evangelism (online and in person), ISVs and Developers community engagement (friendly, neutral, and non-friendly) and quality interaction with influencers. The adoption of Microsoft products and technologies along with improving the satisfaction of the software development community are the primary team goals.
The Developer Evangelist position is a technical evangelism role with the mission of winning the mind and heart of Customers/partner Developers and ISVs by strategic reaching to and effective engaging with the broad community of developers(friendly, neutral, and competitive,professional developers) and driving technical awareness and excitement around developer tools and platform, cloud computing technologies.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Having a systematic and strategic Business planning for Broad Developers Evangelism and ISVs evangelism
Building External key influencers community as DPE’s key partners to drive Developers connections and reach to developers, especially Professional-developers
Developing the durable relationship with ISVs TDM and BDM to make impactful evangelism of Microsoft technologies
Increasing satisfaction with Microsoft and our developer tools/platform technologies within the developer community.
Building and maintaining high-quality relationships with developer community leaders and influencers in the target territory (friendly, neutral, and non-friendly).
Driving early adoptions on MS new Developers tools and platforms , cloud computing technologies through ISVs and Customers
Lead technical meetings between executives at the highest levels, work very closely with super-talented product groups, and have the satisfaction of having helped ISVs deliver superior products built on the Microsoft platform.
Work closely with Business Development Managers of customers or ISVs to drive MS platform & Tools adoption
Delivering persuasive and passionate, high impact, high quality, presentations (online and in person) via various local and national channels, including Microsoft-owned and 3rd party.
Participating in, sponsoring and supporting community-led developer events and programs in their geo
Engaging and making connections with neutral and competitive technology focused communities and influencers.
Participating actively in the local developer community through blogs, newsletters, meetings and other activities.

Preferred qualifications include Computer Science/Engineering or related degree, 10+ years IT working experience and Business management background /experience
Customers engagement experience is prefered
Strong knowledge and skills of software development experience with current and emerging Windows platform technologies, the .NET Framework and Visual Studio + other Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft dynamics ….
Experience with multiple, current programming languages
Experience with or knowledge of future Microsoft developer technologies is a plus
