Qatar Aviation Services, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways, one of the world's fastest growing airlines with an expanding route network covering the Middle East, North America, Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe, is responsible for providing all ground handling services and support at Doha International Airport.   We invite applications for the post of :   LEAD E-BUSINESS ANALYST   The suitable candidate will be accountable to translate Business needs into technical requirements for developing relevant E-Business applications. Manages E-Business projects and liaises between IT and Business Depts. Candidates should be University Graduates or equivalent with specialization in IT or alternatively commensurate and demonstrable experience.   The successful candidate must have minimum 8+ years IT industry experience, preferably in the airline or related domain, firsthand knowledge of analyzing business requirements, processes and workflows to translate these into formal and specific system requirements using Rational Tools. A good working knowledge of RFI and RFP processes and aviation technology and travel distribution market would also be an advantage.   Proven track record of employing proven business methodologies including calculating Return On Investment, Total Cost of Ownership, project management, quality management, business process re-engineering and customer relationship management would be essential. He/She should possess Project Management skills including Analysis and Requirements Definition, Concept Definition using UML, RFI and RFP Process ownership, Vendor Research and Management, Resource Management/Guide and Mentor team members, Costing and Budget Management, People management, SDLC methodology, Good communication and interpersonal skills.   Client account management skills are essential to the success of this position.  Capability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines is a must. The candidate is required to have the ability to articulate business needs and conduct analysis of system requirements amongst competing vendor solutions. Familiarity with range of technology, especially IP-based business applications and a good range of research tools. Exposure to BPR, change management, Rational Software Architect UML and RUP methodologies, quality management, software testing, briefing multimedia/promotions and understanding web-services would be an advantage.   This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in the success of the organization and continuity to its operation.
