Direct Personnel International is a global aviation services company based in Ireland, supplying service based solution to airlines around the world. To take the company forward into new markets, our client has a requirement for a senior sales professional for aviation related services. 

Job Description

Research and pursue sales opportunities for our clients services with aviation companies worldwide Prepare and carry out frequent sales visits to customers and potential coustomers.Manage the entire sales pipeline and lead the contract negotiations process with potential customers through to successful closure.Undertake thorough analysis of customer requirements and ensure these are accurately reflected in proposals and contracts.Make sure targets are in line with revenue and profit targets set forward in the sales and marketing plan.Plan and take part in appropriate trade shows and conferences.Continuously update sales and market data to share with other sales colleagues.Mentor and manage a sales team.  

Desired Skills & Experience

Ideally 7-10 years sales experience in the aviation industry, with exposure to selling service based solutions. University/Third Level degree.A strong business acumen with a proven ability to make sound judgments will be required.A sound knowledge and understanding of the airline or aviation industry in general.Excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness and persuasion skills are required.Proven experience selling internationally with good multicultural understanding to work with clients around the globe.Sound analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to work to deadlines under pressure.Good IT skills are required. MS Office, CRM experience working with data bases etc.Frequent global travel is required, meeting with clients and potential customers throughout Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas.Other languages besides English a plus.
